Macinstruct.com
I discovered how to disassemble and clean a CD ROM drive, and wanted to share this information with the world. I discovered Macinstruct.com, submitted my idea, and it got picked up. That's how I started doing volunteer Technical Writing for the site. Since then I've written more articles covering uses of hardware, software, and more Mac-related topics. RetroJunk.com
RetroJunk is a website with articles, forums, pictures and videos relating to pop culture past, but specifically from the time period of the 70's to the 90's. Years before my writing skills were more honed, I contributed two articles to the website: From Kid To Teen - detailing what life was like for me in the difficult transition, and The Arcade Experiences - discussing pinball and video game stories growing up.
